The Switchbot Contact Sensor runs on 2 AAA batteries and features a ambient light sensor as well as a motion sensor. The Switchbot Contact Sensor also has a “exit” mode that allows for how the door was used to be used within automations. This can be accomplished through a button on the contact sensor as well as with the built in motion sensor. The Switchbot Contact Sensor also allows for the contact magnet to be used on either side of the contact sensor, which is a feature I have never seen before!
The Switchbot Motion Sensor runs on 2 AAA batteries and features a ambient light sensor. The motion sensor can sit flat on a desk or on an included stand that can be used to attach to different surfaces with included screws, 3m tape, or the built in magnet. With a detection range of up to 30 ft (9m), 110° horizontally, and 55° vertically it provides a very large area of coverage. The motion sensitivity can also be adjusted to reduce the range if needed.
The Switchbot Indoor Camera has a resolution of 1080p HD and is powered by a Micro USB cable. This means you are able to purchase a longer cable or cable of different color if your use case requires it. The Switchbot Indoor Camera has 2 way audio communication, and local storage support for up to 128GB of storage with a MicroSD card. Cloud storage is available with a per camera subscription plan.
