Aukey has recently released the LC-Q7 10W Fast Wireless Charger. The main features for this wireless charger are:

  • 10W Fast charging capable
  • 24 Month Warranty
  • 3-Coil Charger
  • USB-C
  • Easy to see Color LED status indicator
  • A non-slip TPU surface & 4 very grippy bottom feet

This charger can support the following charging speeds:

  • Samsung Galaxy S10+ at 10W (when using Samsung’s Fast Charging wall charger or a Quick Charge 2.0/3.0 charger)
  • iPhone 11 Pro Max at 7.5W
  • 5W standard wireless charging

The LC-Q7 10W features a 3-Coil Charger. This means there are 3 charging coils for simpler device placement and more reliable charging. This is intended to allow for a more “Place and Play” setup compared to other wireless chargers where you have to spend extra time making sure your device and charger line up perfectly. In practice this worked pretty well for me as I was able to place my Google Pixel 3 onto the charger without really thinking about it and always got it to charge.

Similar to other wireless chargers, the LC-Q7 10W comes with a USB cable (USB-B to USB-C [yay]) but no power source, so you will need to provide your own power source.

For my testing I used my Google Pixel 3 and my CORSAIR Dark Core SE – RGB Wireless Gaming Mouse. Both support Qi wireless charging. My primary use for this wireless charger is for on my computer desk so I can charge my Dark Core SE when not in use. As the power source I used the Aukey 30w 1 Port PD. The meter used to test power draw was the Killowatt p3.

While in standby pretty much no power draw was detected even with the LED lit. Every so often the Killowatt p3 would detect 0.03W, which with the LED would be expected to keep it lit.

Placing the Pixel 3 on the charger vertically activates charing almost immediately to the full 5w of the Qi standard.

Putting the phone on the charger horizontally gives the same results

Putting the Dark Core SE on the charger did prove to require a bit more attention but based on other testing I believe this is more so because of the mouse and not the charger.

The mouse will only charge vertically which is a non issue for me and just has to be relativity in the middle of the charger. Once on the charger it also pulls 5w for Qi Charging.

Overall the LC-Q7 10W seems like a great wireless charger that has some great built in features and at a great price point.

  1. Like!! I blog frequently and I really thank you for your content. The article has truly peaked my interest.

  2. I have been surfing online more than three hours nowadays, yet I by no means discovered
    any attention-grabbing article like yours.
It’s pretty value sufficient for me. Personally, if all web
owners and bloggers made excellent content material as you probably did, the net
will probably be much more useful than ever before.
